[Gmcmontpelier-list] Request for Leaders - Wheeler Pond camps

Thomas Weiss has rented both of the GMC camps on Wheeler Pond (in  
Barton, about 5 miles from Lake Willoughby and from Crystal Lake) for  
the week of August 7 - 14 (Thursday through Thursday).  He is  
inviting section members and their guests to join him for one or more  
nights for a Montpelier intrasectional.  The purpose of this e-mail  
is to invite members to sign up as leaders of outings during that week.

He would like to plan one outing per day with the rest of the time  
available for impromptu activities.

If you would be willing to schedule an outing in that area during  
this period, Thomas is looking for leaders.  He would like to have  
full details in Trail Talk and the submittal deadline is April 18.   
Please contact Thomas if you are willing to schedule an outing for  
August 8, 9, 11, 12, or 13.  Fred Jordan has already agreed to lead  
an outing on August 10.  Thomas plans to lead two hikes in the area  
and will schedule them after hearing from others willing to lead.

Please call Thomas at 223-5603 by April 17 (Thursday) if you are  
willing to lead an outing.

Information on making reservations and so on will be in the next  
issue of Trail Talk.
