[The Nuquists]

Montpelier Section members:

 

On Tuesday, May 6, we do our annual trail work in the Montpelier park
system. This is a good warm-up for work on our sections of the Long Trail
later in the month. You can work as little or as much as you
choose--volunteers can quit anytime they want! No former trail work
experience is required. The parks provide instruction and tools. Some
Section members return year after year, wishing to give something back to
our amazing park system--and for the pleasure of working with Parks Director
Geoff Beyer.

 

Wear work clothes and gloves. Bring water and lunch, if you think you may
stay through the noon hour. Contact Reidun if you intend to come, so that
she can tell Geoff how many we will be. The size of the group decides where
in the parks we work and what tools we require.

 

We meet Geoff at 9:00 A.M. in the parking lot off Elm Street, next to the
swimming pool and tennis courts.
