May 3, Saturday - Green Mountain Club Montpelier Section. Bird Walk. Waterbury, Little River State Park. Easy. Spring Migrant Special. We'll park at Waterbury Dam, make our way into the park looking and listening for returning migrant songbirds. Binoculars and bird & flower field guides are a good idea. Bring bug repellant. May 4, Sunday - Green Mountain Club Montpelier Section. Mystery Bike Ride. Call Leader: Fred Jordan, 223-3935 for meeting time and place.



And regarding the Waterbury Resevoir paddle on Sunday the 11th.  We will be leaving from the Montpelier High School parking lot at 12:30.  A woman called me and would like to go but doesn't have a boat.  If anyone is canoeing and would like to offer her a place then call Cristina at 522-9122. In addition to the regularly planned trips published in the Trail Talk newsletter, Montpelier Section members may spontaneously plan trips.  The details of those trips including what the trip will be, time and place of meeting, level of difficulty, expected time of return, and what should be brought for clothing, equipment and food, and the leader contact information should be sent by email to George Plumb by 9 am on Friday morning.
