Whoops, the Burlington to Port Kent ferry does not begin operation for its
2008 season until May 22; two days too late for my scheduled May 20 bicycle
ride starting in Port Kent. As the idea was specifically to explore this new
route, I am cancelling the event rather than offering an alternative on
Tuesday. If/when I do again aim for Port Kent with a bicycle, I will send
out a notice to this list.

 

Sorry, it did not occur to me that the ferry would not start soon after the
ice was off Lake Champlain.
